Innovation Hub space to catalyze rapid growth of emerging life science and tech companies

The team behind the sweeping Health + Life Science Exchange campus in New Brunswick is seeking tenants for a group of prebuilt laboratory and office suites, part of a 574,000-square-foot building that’s slated to open later this year.

The landmark Health & Life Science Exchange of New Jersey campus in New Brunswick has found a key partner for the project’s incubator space, announcing a pact with Portal Innovations to spearhead a facility for startups and entrepreneurs from nearby universities.

Portal Innovations will design and manage another innovation and lab incubation space tied to East Coast universities, this time in New Jersey near Rutgers University, Princeton University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Portal Innovations, a leading life sciences venture development engine, announced today a partnership with The NJ Innovation Hub, a cornerstone of The Health & Life Science Exchange of New Jersey (HELIX NJ), to design and manage 30,000 SF of innovation and lab incubation space in New Brunswick.

During a Monday event at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, Nokia announced plans to relocate its Bell Labs campus from Murray Hill to a new, state-of-the-art research and development facility at the developing HELIX NJ innovation district.
